Fully electric performance

The Solterra EV is powered by Subaru’s innovative new StarDrive® electric drivetrain system. This setup pairs a 72.8 kWh battery with dual front and rear motors that deliver a combined 215 horsepower and 249 lb-ft of torque. The Solterra EV can travel up to 228 miles on a single charge, and it can recharge up to 80% in an hour when plugged in to a public fast-charging station.

Just like practically every other Subaru vehicle, the Solterra EV comes equipped with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. This system incorporates dual-function X-MODE® settings for driving in snow/dirt and deep snow/mud—perfect for all your adventures in Beaverton and beyond. The Solterra EV also boasts a fully independent suspension with 8.3 inches of ground clearance for traversing tough terrain.

Advanced safety features

Limited and Touring trims add upgrades like LED fog lights, roof rails, and 20-inch wheels.

Meanwhile, the vehicle’s interior can carry up to five passengers and 23.8 cubic feet of cargo at the same time. You can also fold down the second row to gain 63.5 cubic feet of total cargo space. An underfloor cargo storage tray comes standard, and a power rear gate with automatic close and memory settings is included with Limited and Touring models.

The Solterra EV is packed with amenities that heighten comfort and convenience for everyone aboard. All models come with push-button start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, front and rear USB charging ports, and dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents. Cloth upholstery and heated front seats are standard as well.

Limited and Touring trims give you even more, starting with a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and a heated steering wheel. Other deluxe upgrades for the Solterra EV include StarTex® upholstery, heated second-row outboard seats, and a Qi wireless charging pad.

Cutting-edge connectivity

The Solterra EV keeps you well-connected with an array of standard and available Subaru Multimedia features. The Premium trim provides an 8-inch touch screen, wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, cloud-based navigation, Bluetooth®, SiriusXM®, and much more. Limited and Touring trims receive a 12.3-inch display and an 11-speaker Harman Kardon® premium audio system.

The Solterra EV also comes standard with Intelligent Assistant, a voice-activated system that lets you adjust climate controls, access infotainment functions, and more simply by speaking. Wi-Fi® hotspot capability is included as well. Higher trims let you lock and unlock the vehicle using your smartphone and the Solterra Connect app.
